Family vacations are not complete without side trips to amusement parks. Road trips are even boring without this kind of stop over to look forward to. For many adults, the first thing that comes to mind when amusement parks are discussed is the long hours of making sure your child doesn't get lost in a sea of people.

That and the heat, the long queue and the expensive food sold inside the premises.

For many adults, the first thing that comes to mind when amusement parks are discussed is the long hours of making sure your child doesn't get lost in a sea of people. That and the heat, the long queue, the expensive food sold inside the premises and the thought of how most of the rides are for kids.

Whereas for the kids, it's a day of wild extreme and unadulterated fun regardless of the heat, the crowd and the long lines.

I'm sure many of us are aware that amusement parks, depending on which one, can be enjoyable and age appropriate for both kids and adults. I am also certain that some places have already popped up in your mind. Most of them are in the USA, right?
